In terms of right & wrong, I was both

Blasting my way out of a bar, come midnight, the energy, inside me dancing.
Took the wheel and decided, at the spur of the moment, to go for a drive.
With music commanding the flow of things, the evening, could not have been better.

The streetlights flickering, as I sped through, without a care in this world.
I was alone, and enjoying every minute of it.
Many streets later, I found myself heading home.
Pulled to a halt at an intersection, waiting for the lights to flash green.
While I waited, I was thinking to myself, how warm the evening’s proceedings were, when the traffic light flashed a bright green.
I stepped on the gas pedal, only to come to an immediate halt, smack in the middle of the lane, with the oncoming herd of metal monsters, from my right, screeching to a halt, inches away from where I had stopped.
PAUSE
Here’s what happened...
I, apparently in no condition to drive, had not only foolishly done so, but had been looking at the wrong traffic light, having mistaken it for mine!
In terms of right & wrong, I was both.

Again….
Perspective!!

Don’t be too quick to judge, as my reasoning, under such conditions, was head on, even funny seeing how no one got hurt.
However, things don’t always happen that way...

INTERCEPTION

Not sure what game this is,
However, I am certain, few do.
And those who do, have nothing to say.

[Few of the things I have done, in this journey we call life, I am not particularly proud off.
That is the only truth that matters, to you, her, him, & I.
Reality is how you feel, when reflecting upon what had just happened, which, in a heartbeat, changes to what, you recall.
That is something I learned, after I stopped being selfish.
Back then, it was quite easy, I just exploited what ‘power’ I exercised, and the world, offered it all.]

The easiest thing in the world, is running into trouble, which is quite similar to jogging into a minefield at the grace of God, and hoping to have the time for breakfast before going to work!

All wired-up, fired-up, & ready to lift off.
Now imagine walking into a situation, described as, EXPLOSIVE.

Resolution on Blasphemy

Reporters Without Borders is extremely concerned by a resolution condemning “defamation of religions” which the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted on 25 March.
It was submitted by Pakistan on behalf of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC).

“Under the pretext of trying to reconcile freedom of expression and religious freedom, some member states are establishing a mechanism with the sole aim of forbidding criticism of religions, above all Islam,” Reporters Without Borders said.  “This is a dangerous process that needs to be stopped. Respect for freedom of expression is as fundamental as respect for religious freedom. One cannot exist without the other.
“Caricature, artistic freedom, the right of opinion and all other spheres of intellectual activity that constitute freedom of expression are endangered by this resolution. Its unfortunate result will be to even curb exchanges of views within religions while invoking the need to protect them. Will it be possible to debate ideas within a religion without running the risk of being accused of defamation by the dominant group seeking to impose its viewpoint?
